CLOVER VALLEY benefit cookbook hot off the press!

Stir up some delicious dishes this holiday season with the region's newest cookbook, unveiled recently in Rocklin, by author Suzanne Kizer. "FLAVOR OF THE FOOTHILLS" features recipes from regional cooks and pays strong tribute to the unique dishes of our Native American ancestors.

"Two of the tastiest and most unusual recipes in FLAVOR OF THE FOOTHILLS are for acorn pancakes and hominy bread," said Suzanne. She said cookbook enthusiasts are commenting on the many unique recipes - from soups to salads - as well as the added pages filled with kitchen and household tips.

Books are $15, including shipping, and may be ordered online via the website: www.clovervalleyfoundation.org

Orders may also be placed by phone at 652-7005. All orders will be processed in time for holiday gift giving.

Proceeds will be used to benefit the Clover Valley Foundation of Loomis, CA, a 501(c).3, non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and provide outreach to the community about the rich historical and environmental resources found in Rocklin's Clover Valley on the city's northeast side.
