Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California Announces
the Launch of the $1.9 million Dream House Raffle in Sacramento
THE HOUSE AND PROPERTY WILL BE OPEN FOR PRESS PHOTOGRAPHY ON THURSDAY
WHAT: Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California unveils the 5,760 sq/ft, $1.9 million Dream House to be given to the winning raffle ticket holder in the organizations first ever Dream House Raffle – the only event of its kind in the Sacramento area. The gorgeous 5-bedroom Mediterranean villa nestled in the foothills near Sacramento will be on display for press photography. One lucky ticket holder will win the fully furnished home on 1.7 acres or the cash value of 1.5 million dollars. He or she will choose after their name is selected during the First Prize drawing on May 30th. Ticket sale entry forms are officially available on the www.sacramentoraffle.com website and by phone.
WHY: Proceeds from the sale of thirty-three thousand $150 raffle tickets between January 5th and May 15th will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California in its efforts to support the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House and Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake --- both excellent local fixtures whose mission it is to support children and their families, especially children in medical crisis.
WHO: Representatives from the Ronald McDonald Charities Northern California, Board Director Mark McElroy and Director of Community Relations Stacey Hodge, will be present at the Dream House for interviews and will hold a press conference at 1pm.
When: Thursday January 8, 2009 10am to 3pm (Press Conference at 1pm)
RAFFLE INFO: Raffle tickets are $150 each and can be purchased by phone at 888-422-0221, or by downloading the entry form at www.sacramentoraffle.com. There are many bonus drawings for 329 additional cash prizes ranging from $300 - $25,000 in value (see back for details). You must be 18 or older to participate and a US citizen. The raffle is not restricted to California residents.
