Sierra Gold Chorus, in Auburn , is auditioning new singers. The Director, Barb Tincher, said, “We are looking for women who sing well, and sing accurately. Our minimum age is 14, although minors need to be accompanied by an adult. What a great opportunity for a mother – daughter activity!” The chorus currently has about 35 active singers. “We sing in barbershop style. That means we sing in four parts with yummy chords.” Tincher noted that this musical genre appreciates low women’s voices. To audition, attend rehearsal on Monday evenings at 7 PM at Burback Hall, DeWitt Center, 11577 E Avenue, Auburn. Call 530-478-0130 or 916-663-2105 for more information or visit www.sierragoldchorus.org.
