Cronan Ranch is just outside of Pilot Hill and has 12 miles of rolling hills. The trails are easy to moderate and takes you to the South Fork American River. One notable sight; the set from the movie; Memoirs of a Geisha has the look of old buildings but are rather new. They make a great backdrop for stills.

But how exactly do I find Cronan Ranch? I sure as heck didn't see it from 49 & I was looking for it around Pilot Hill. Please let me know if there's a landmark or something. I want to take my dog, Ishmael, out there to play.
