The JV Hillgal softball team started their pre-season looking strong against Vista del Lago, beating them 22-3. Jenna Knox pitched the entire game for the win, with contributions from the whole team. Taylor Hill went 4-for-5 with 6 stolen bases, Jamie Schlenker and Shanna Heller 3-for-3, and Mackenzie McGown had a solid standup double. The season opener (home game) will be against Mesa Verde this Thursday 3/12, Skyridge Elementary (Upper) at 3 :30 p.m.
