Torture of this kind only comes from people who are far away from God...
I, given the choice, would be captured by Switzerland. I'm sure they'd treat me with the dignity that an enemy combatant deserves & ultimately either give me an actual trial or send me home. That's what any self respecting, civilized country would do.
lonewolf: 8 years ago, the answer to your question would be simple. If , however, you actually read the ICRC report , you might not be so quick to assume there was an easy answer under the last administration. A relatively quick death at the hands of al Quaeda might be preferred to 7 years of continual physical and psychological torture, aided by medical professionals that helped the interrogators bring the prisoners to a point just short of death.
But since when does the United States of America attempt to justify its conduct by comparing it to the lowest of the low?
