JV Hillgals couldn't stop Lincoln bats
The Hillgals started off with a bang but were overcome by the mighty Lincoln Zebras, losing 15-9. Lincoln came up with aggressive bats and proved to be too much of a match for Placer. Early in the game, Taylor Hill’s teamed up with Elia Rivas for a beautiful double play. Micheala Wood went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI’s, Haley Tupen went 2-for-3, Paige Maberry went 1-for-1 with a nice RBI bunt, and Kristin Close went 1-for-1 with a stand up double.
Placer is now 5-5-1 in the Pioneer Valley League. The final season game will be at 4 pm tomorrow in Colfax.
