The Hillgals ended their 09 season by flying by the Colfax Falcons 12-2. Placer had strong bats and a solid defense. Haley Tupen was 1-for-3 with a two run RBI homer, Shanna Heller was 3-for-4 with four RBI’s, Paige Maberry was 2-for-2, Taylor Hill was 2-for-3 (both doubles) with two RBI’s, Kristin Close was 1-for-3 with one RBI, Alexis Strictland was 1-for-3, and both Alyssa Chapman and Micheala Wood were 1-for-3, each having a double.

The JV Hillgals finished the Pioneer Valley League with 6 wins, 5 losses, and a tie.

Rain permitting, they will play tomorrow, May 2nd in the J.V. Bulldog Classic tournament at Kemp Park in Folsom. Game times will be 8:45, 11:45, and 4:15. Placer hopes to finish up their season with some post season competition and have some fun.
