JOIN SIERRA GOLD CHORUS -Sing Barbershop Harmony

Sierra Gold Chorus of Auburn, is getting ready to kick-off the “REAL WOMEN, REAL HARMONY, REAL FUN” Program to attract woman singers of all ages to attend four rehearsals with a focus on singing skills. This free program begins Monday, June 8, 2009, through Monday, June 29, 2009, from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM, at Burback Hall, De Witt Center, 11577 E Avenue, in Auburn. In addition to focusing on singing skills, the participants may stay and continue to sing with the chorus during their regular rehearsal in preparation for a performance at the Nevada County Fair in Grass Valley in August. The Sierra Gold Chorus of Auburn, under the direction of Barb Tincher, has a membership of over 30 women from Nevada City to Sacramento to Sparks, Nevada! It is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, which is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of Barbershop harmony through education and performance.
