Lego Guard team recieves Commendation from Placer County
2008 FLL Lego Guards- Climate Connection team received a Commendation from Placer County for their achievements. Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery gives the honors at the Placer County Board of Supervisors meeting. The team won the 1st place award at the Children's Climate Summit in Copenhagen for their project idea. They are now working with Sony Europe to create a working prototype of their early wildfire detection system (Forest Guard) with hopes of getting it implemented into the region.
