After observing hunters video its easy to see how the deer would flee from danger and cause them to run from what should be a terror free park. If a man was being shot at they too would run in panic for their lives not even aware of the road due to panic. this is not only for bowhunting its also gun hunting but the clips used on this video was found under "bowhunting".

Caroline TC, thank you for the informative article. But I don't think contraception involves enough suffering to satisfy Kirk Uhler. He won't be happy without inflicting the greatest amount of suffering and distress possible (bowhunting). Killing does that may be nursing fawns just adds to the horrific suffering. If contraception is the only alternative left for Uhler, he will abandon the effort entirely. After all, I guess the auto-deer collision problem isn't THAT bad. Contraception is not on his "agenda".

I don't know much about this Kirk Uhler but he sounds like a cold hearted jerk. Majority of the hunting communities and organization do not care about human lives lost in DVA's (forget about the lives of animals) they are too busy finding pretty words to cover their sadism and of course excuses as to why they need to kill the animal. One only have to ask why are we killing so many deer year after year after year with no end in site and Deer Vehicle Accidents has not gone down and in fact in many heavily hunted states it has gone up sometime doubled in DVA' fatalities. You can see just how much hunters cares about does with child (this is for early season doe hunt)

But even in the fall the child is still with mother.
PS. Sometimes I wonder if they want the DVA's and mangled cars this way State Wildlife Agencies can make excuses for hunting. I say put a bigger deer crossing sign on the roadway ,stop the killing and start thinking about deer birth control.
