FRAUD IN PLACER? NEVER! Well........
By Rabidog
Placer's Political Magic

Now that the Placer County Assessment Appeals Board and temporary county assessor have determined the solar array installed through a no bid contract awarded to Supervisor Uhler’s former employer is taxable; and for the first time in the decade-long history of the Tax Appeals Board their audio recording of the hearing was “lost” due to a “malfunction;” will that Appeals Board Chairman or the Supervisor’s hand-picked assessor refer the matter to the DA to determine if a fraud was involved? There are heavy penalties levied for fraudulent evasion of property taxes. Ooop’s, the Board Chairman and temporary assessor gave no comment on that matter. Forgot. (See the Video section in Journal to hear a private recording of that hearing.)

Maybe the DA Fenocchio would like to comment on this, or how about his “anointed” and openly supported successor, DA candidate Ron “Scott” Owens? Ooop’s, Owens’ campaign treasurer is Brian Jagger. Is this the same Brian Jagger who is Uhler’s District Director? Is Uhler sending out his District Director to work for a DA candidate while he pounds on Supervisor Montgomery? Can the Appeals Board, temporary assessor, District Attorney, or DA “wanna-be” be trusted in determining if property tax fraud occurred in this matter? You decide.

Political “family” ties bind tight in Placer County, right?

No wonder some of these guys don't like you Rabidog. Keep up the good work.

You're the main, if not only, local reporter for these blogs, Rabid. As Chuxx said... keep up the good work.

Glad your not on my trail :)

Go get-em.

...a new career in investigative journalism? This is good stuff Rabid!

Rabiddog, do you have any knowledge about the other photovoltaic installations in the county such as the Larry Oddo building, the Garage and some other buildings between B and C Ave? Did those jobs go out to bid or were they also installed sans bid by Uhler's company. That could blow the County to pieces.

who would approve these contracts with no competitive bids?
