Another fire. Dejavu (almost) in Roseville!

A grass fire started reportedly from a vehichle accident and blew across the field towards the building I work in. Naturally, the winds picked up and fanned the fire quickly. The security guards reacted very quickly to evacuate our building (Hats off for a great job!) and I saw many of the buildings near us also evacuating. As I exited, I could see the huge smoke cloud coming across the field towards us and first priority; get out, then I got the camera out. I captured the pictures from a safe distance (I love my telephoto...) The fire was quickly contained with at least three helicopters, possibly two CDF boraid planes, and several other aircraft. On top of this, a multitude of ground crew showed up and swiftly got the fire out. (Perhaps the 49er fire was still on everyones mind...) I am very impressed by the professionalism that every department exploited on this fire. As of this writting, I don't believe any buildings were affected.

CDF drops a load of retardant on the fire.
