Basic Urban Kitchen & Bar will be hosting an all-you-can eat, HOT Pizza Night this Friday, Oct. 9 from 5-8 p.m. at its Historic Old Town Roseville location at 112 Pacific Street.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the Placer Breast Cancer Endowment. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children to enjoy Basic Urban Kitchen & Bar’s signature thin crust pizzas.

The pizza event is a kickoff for the 2nd annual Roseville Hot Pink 5K Fun Run that takes place Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. in Historic Old Town Roseville. The run/walk begins and ends in Historic Old Town. Last year’s event included 400 participants and raised more than $10,000 in funds for the Placer Breast Cancer Endowment.

All proceeds from both events will benefit the UC Davis Breast Cancer Center through the Placer Breast Cancer Endowment. The Placer Breast Cancer Endowment has pledged to raise $1.5 million over a five-year campaign to fund new research, a breast cancer chair, laboratory space and clinical trials at the UC Davis Cancer Center.
