Bridgeport; Longest Single Span Wood Bridge in the Nation
Crossing the Yuba South Fork, this is a great spot to start many hikes up the Yuba. There is also a museum here with some of the oldest artifacts from California gold rush days. (Old wagons, etc.) Great place to visit. Reportedly, there is also a single span bridge (the Blenhiem Bridge) in New York reportedly longer at 210' of free span, however, recent surveys say no to that claim.
