The Coolie - Ken Fox Statue
One of my favorites without a doubt. Driving by it last night with the full moon glowing in the distance, I had no choice but to go back and snap a few shots of it..

Cool picture, it looks like something out of the Mortal Kombat vidoe game series.
Coolie (ku-lee) – n. Offensive.
An unskilled laborer, esp. in British colonial India and China.
Origin: Urdu, "kuli"; Tamil, "kuli"= hireling. Used by British colonial governments to designate semi-slave laborers, such as:
"Those scantily-clad, turbaned wretches are Coolies from the banks of the Ganges." ("Creoles and Coolies - or - Five Years in Mauritius" by Rev. Patrick Beaton, M.A.)
auburnnative, Thanks for the comment
Skeptic. I know what a coolie is, I'm not and idiot. THAT'S THE NAME OF THE STATUE. I didn't name. I guess your not to familiar with landmarks in our area. Ken Fox, the sculpture, named it. Talk with him about how offensive it is.

That photograph is fantastic. The shadowing on the sculpture is amazing. Very life like. Good job FFGPhotos. Wow!
