Take it from someone who just barely survived three physically abusive relationships and is now celebrating her 10th year in a 'normal' relationship without abuse. From the vantage point of my own personal experience with healing this horrendous rift in my life: the path to peaceful negotiations starts with how we negotiate the relationship with ourselves.

You CAN have peace in your life. Now, if you have ever lived with domestic violence, that sentence will sound like music to your ears, but you may not believe it. Here's the catch: you have to do some inner work. Like happiness, it begins from the inside: you must dissolve the inner critic.

Having worked with all kinds of therapies both clinical and holistic, I have scoured the earth for what I have found to be the most effective, the fastest, and the most pro-active. Why proactive? As any doctor worth his or her salt knows, if the patient doesn't want to heal it won't happen, no matter how qualified the doctor. Ultimately, it's up to you to change your life. No one can do it for you.
