FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH READY TO BURY THEIR TIME CAPSULE

The First United Methodist Church of Loomis has completed it's sanctuary enhancement project and is ready to include Time Capsule items from congregation members. Time Capsule chairperson, Larry Bowen, displays various items to be included; such as photos, samples of building materials, church history dating from its founding in 1903. Shown here is a box containing one year's worth of The Loomis News for 2003--the church's 100th birthday year. Any community members who have not yet contributed to the Time Capsule and would like to can contact the church at 652-0469 before the September 7th dedication of the sanctuary.
