Originally called "Prospector", A conservative who understands that there is a balance between our responsibility to society, and our liberty to do as we please.

Modeled in the manner of Thomas Paine (note spelling) I evaluate the facts and make rational analysis of issues, unlike those who simply parrot their partisan lines. I also do not quote famous historic figures with the presumption that they were liberals when in fact, they were conservative. For example, using our founding father's quotes to justify gay marriage when the founding fathers would NEVER have supported such a thing. They assumed a certain level of common sense and morality among the populace when they made statements on human liberty.
