I was born in Budapest, Hungary and grew up in Santa Monica working in the family camera store. As an adult I branched out on my own and started Miko Color Film Lab, which was nationally acclaimed for the quality of the work that we produced. Given our location in Santa Monica and the close proximity to Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Malibu we had a large celebrity clientele and were often referred to as the photo lab to the stars. We were often privy to photos and stories several months before they were released to People magazine.

I sold the businesses and moved to Auburn in 1999. I feel fortunate to be able to live and work in Auburn.
