About Me On January 7, 2007 I preached 'in view of a call' at Bell Road Baptist Church in Auburn. The church decided to call me with 100% affirmation; Cathy and I looked at each other and said, "Yes, we'll come serve the Lord Jesus through this local church."
The greek word for 'pastor' (poime) is 'shepherd'. Like David served his father Jesse by looking after the flock, I am called to oversee the Father's sheep. I try to count them one-by-one. I've been instructed that its OK to leave 99 in the pasture whenever I notice one who has strayed.
I love to read God's Word (the Bible) and try to make the Scripture accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. This calling is gonna take a lifetime.
Paul said it this way: "I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some." see 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
