Hello Placer County! Welcome to my profile. I will be using this blog at least once a week with a column titled, "This Week In Photos" talking about assignments, crazy stories from the street, an interesting photograph taken or any thing else that happens during the week as a photojournalist. About me, I've been with the Auburn Journal for the last 5 years and serve as their photo editor and lead photographer. I graduated with a BA degree in photography from University of Nevada, Reno. When I'm not shooting a variety of assignments for the A.J., I'm freelancing my photography out for weddings, business portraits, web photography, magazines, product photography and any other photo needs. During my off days I spend time with my son Brady, my family and my girlfriend Candace. Hiking, bike riding, swimming at the river, snowboarding, BBQing, gardening and playing Nintendo Wii with Brady are my main hobbies. I love what I do and getting paid to shoot photos is not a bad gig. I'm very thankful for the opportunity given to me.
